Stacey Pennell
Director of Nest Pediatric Therapy Services, Speech Language Pathologist
Stacey has been practicing Speech Language Pathology for over 20 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and graduate degree from the University of Akron. Stacey has experience with adults, school-age, early intervention, and everything in between, she especially enjoys working with families and children to reach their communication goals. Stacey is married with two girls, and spends most of her free time with her family working on their farm. -

Angie Willard
CEO of Cardinal Therapy Group and Nest Pediatric Therapy Services, Speech Language Pathologist
Angie grew up in Tuscarawas County, graduated from Sandy Valley, and pursued her undergraduate degree at Ohio University. She then graduated with her masters’ degree from the University of Akron and started her career in Holmes County, where she has spent the last 20+ years serving clients of all ages in a wide variety of settings. Angie’s favorite part of being a Speech Pathologist is the long-lasting relationships that are formed when working with clients and helping them achieve their goals. She lives in Holmes County with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she can be found on the sideline or in the audience of one of her kids events. -

Abby Ackerman
Occupational Therapist MOT, OTR/L
Abby is an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) who serves Tuscarawas and Holmes Counties with Nest and Home Health services. Abby earned her Master's in Occupational Therapy in 2023 and has clinical experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation. Her clinical specialties include working with a broad age range and treating complex conditions in both children and adults. Abby is dedicated to her community, with local ties to Tusky Valley and involvement as a board member for The Golden Goose Project, a non-profit providing therapy dogs to oncology families.
Pediatric Specialties: CP, Autism, ADHD, Brachial Plexus injuries, developmental delay, and feeding/fine motor difficulties.
Adult Specialties: Functional Neurological Disorder, Stroke, TBI, hand injury/dysfunction, MS, and Parkinson’s.

Tara Martin
Wellness Director, Community Liaison
Tara Martin is our wellness team member who leads our employee wellness program, corporate wellness initiatives, and fitness activities for Nest and Cardinal Therapy Group. She is a 200h-YTT Yoga Teacher and has over 17 years of work experience in the world of health and wellness. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science Education and Health Promotions from The Ohio State University and has been blessed to utilize that degree on many levels. Tara is very proud to be working and living in Holmes County, close to her family. She has two young children that keep her busy with sports and activities. She loves spending time with her kids and family, cooking and trying new healthy recipes, and supporting her local sports teams.
